The social on September 19 will be at the Pioneer Grill at noon.  The Pioneer is located four miles north of Menomonie on Hwy 25 turn right on County Rd D about a mile the Pioneer is on the left.  Weather permitting we will take about a 2.5-hour ride after the social.

How about all the heat and storms we had in August.  Some of you already know that the alternator decided to quit working on our trike.  Thanks to Bruce Hanson and Randy Gulseth, the trike, Rose, and I made it back home safe and sound.  This happened just off the beltline in Madison the night before the Ride for Kids.  We were on our way back to Bruce & Bernie’s when the alternator went out.  The trike has since been repaired and is back on the road.

We still have a lot of riding left this summer and/or fall fundraisers and rallies.  Rose and I are planning on leaving sometime Friday, September 10, for New Hampton, IA.

Coming up fast is Region E Rally in Davenport, IA, Labor Day weekend.  Our past District Couple of the Year, Marie & Turk, will be going through the selection process for Region Couple of the Year.  So come out and support them on their quest.  I know they will appreciate your support.
