September is here with cooler temperatures, which makes for more comfortable riding. This begins the beautiful rides that we will remember all winter. We have been having some really fun rides on our Tuesdays and Fridays. We go out for a dinner ride on Tuesday. We meet at the Waunakee Village Park at 4:30 p.m. and leave at 5:00 p.m. The Friday ride leaves Waunakee Village Park at 10:30 a.m. and we ride until noon and then stop for lunch. We meet a half-hour early so we can call the restaurant with a count prior to leaving the park. All are welcome to join us for the ride or just meet us at the restaurant. For information on where we are going, please call George & Mary Black or John & Sarah Wendorf. The Region E Rally will be held September 3 -5 at Davenport, Iowa. Chapter N has its Chili Fest on October 2. We will have our September Social at the Middleton Sports Bowl, 6815 University Ave., Middleton, on September 19 at 10:00 a.m. Remember this is a week later than usual because of the Davis Rally.
